Tell the EU: There is a home for vulnerable refugees in Europe
Right now, thousands of refugees are left without a safe place to call home. Unable to find work, educate their children or access healthcare, many are forced to put their lives on hold, their futures frozen in time.
We need to tell our leaders in Europe that we think that’s wrong.
Last year, thousands of people like you called on the EU to take the first step towards providing safety for vulnerable refugees.
Together we're already making a difference. Now it’s time to turn the pressure up!
European leaders are meeting in the next weeks to discuss a way to resettle more vulnerable refugees in Europe.
Tell the EU to take the final step and give a safe home to the world’s most vulnerable refugees. With your help, it’s within our grasp.
To the Presidency of the EU Council:
We invite you to show the world how much compassion Europe has for people who need our help. The Union Resettlement Framework is a golden opportunity for Europe to provide a glimmer of hope to thousands of refugees whose lives have been left in limbo; their dreams shattered and their futures frozen in time.
We urge the EU to create an ambitious framework before the end of 2018 that will:
- Set ambitious targets for refugee resettlement in Europe
- Ensure the most vulnerable refugees are prioritised based on their need
- Complement other safe and legal routes for refugees.
